Dana and Amy Therrien, both born and raised in Maine, have spent much of their lives embracing the beauty and traditions of the state. After years away pursuing their careers, they returned to their roots, driven by a passion for sharing the quintessential Maine experience with others. As avid runners who began their fitness journey later in life, they embrace a love for staying active, hosting, and fostering meaningful connections.

The Therriens designed LoonsNest and MoonBud to reflect their values – blending relaxation, family traditions, and modern comforts. With careers spent primarily working from home, they’ve thoughtfully included amenities like private office spaces, ensuring guests can enjoy both vacation and productivity. Whether it’s a summer weekend or an extended stay, Dana and Amy bring a high level of care and detail to every guest experience.

Hosting comes naturally to Dana and Amy, as they love making guests feel welcome – whether family, friends, or visitors from across the globe. Their love of Maine runs deep, with memories rooted in the lakes and forests of Long Pond, Salmon Lake, and Eustis Ridge.
